🔒 Summary: EdgeGlide is 100% offline and privacy-first. We do NOT collect, store, track, or share any personal information, location data, or device analytics.

1. Information Collection & Usage

EdgeGlide does not collect any personal data or usage metrics. All gesture detection, settings adjustments, and touch interactions are processed strictly in real-time on your local device.

2. Permissions Requested & Purpose

EdgeGlide requests only the minimum Android system permissions necessary to provide edge gesture controls:

Display over other apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Required to render invisible touch overlay zones on screen edges and display visual volume/brightness HUD indicators.
Modify system settings (WRITE_SETTINGS): Required to adjust screen brightness when swiping the assigned edge.
Do Not Disturb access (ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY): Required to switch between Normal, Vibrate, and Silent sound modes when adjusting volume.
Post Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Required by Android 13+ to maintain the foreground gesture service reliably in the background.
Run at startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Required to automatically resume edge gesture listening after you restart your device.
Vibration (VIBRATE): Required to provide haptic feedback when swiping.

3. Third-Party Services & SDKs

EdgeGlide contains no third-party advertising SDKs, tracking libraries, or analytics frameworks. The app does not make network connections or transmit data to any remote servers.

4. Children's Privacy

EdgeGlide is a utility app suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any information from children or any other users.
